Tierras came about from the Mediterranean artisanal tradition and focuses on the concept of sedimentation, in order to create a collection where the elements seems to come from earth, marked by the hand of a man and the time passing by. It’s a re-interpretation of traditional craftsmanship, where different kinds of terracotta and clays, chromatically matching with each other, combine and mix, enriching and softening the black base of recycled ceramics on which they are deposited.
Realised in unglazed porcelain stoneware using the innovative Continua technology, which allows Mutina to work with dry powders, the tile results are extremely tactile and the colour palette is characterised by natural yet rich and deep earthy shades, saturated by the black base underneath.
The four earthy colours are available in 200x300mm, 600x600mm and 1200x1200mm. Frame is a specific patterned tile available in 200x300mm. Triomix is a set of 3 patterns, sold together, available in 1200x1200mm.
This collection has 20% recycled content.
