Parkside brought together architects and designers at Material Source Studio during Clerkenwell Design Week 2026 for a hands-on terrazzo plant pot workshop, created to celebrate the launch of the new TerrazzoTech collection and offer a more tactile way to experience the material.

Overview

To celebrate the launch of Parkside’s TerrazzoTech collection, we hosted an immersive terrazzo plant pot workshop at Material Source Studio during Clerkenwell Design Week 2026. Led by Francesca from Salt Studios, the session invited architects and designers to experience the material in a more tactile way, exploring the process of mixing, casting and finishing terrazzo before creating their own bespoke plant pot to take home. Each piece was completed with a house plant supplied by Benholm, bringing the finished designs to life. More than a product introduction, the workshop created a relaxed setting for material discovery, creativity and conversation. It offered guests the chance to engage with terrazzo beyond the surface, while connecting with the wider design community and discovering Parkside’s latest launches throughout Clerkenwell Design Week.
