Parkside introduces the innovative Kaste01, a concrete effect porcelain tile collection. What makes this collection so different from anything else on the market is that Kaste01 is available as a shower tray fashioned from the same material as the concrete effect tiles used on both the floor and walls as well as an outdoor tile and step option, enabling a cohesive flow between the floor and shower tray or indoors and outdoors.
Exclusive to Parkside in the UK, Kaste01 is available in four contemporary grey toned colours – concrete, basalt, grit and cement – various standard and bespoke sizes meaning a world of design combinations.
Highly versatile, Kaste01 is offered in a range of standard sizes, with selected lines available in stock for immediate dispatch. The shower tray tile is sized 90cm x 90cm and can be combined with a variety of different sized tiles including 90cm x 90cm; 70cm x 70cm; 60cm x 60cm and 40cm x 120cm (wall only). A Kaste01 step is available in two different widths, 90cm or 70cm.
Parkside’s bespoke water jet cutting service extends the range of size options available to include smaller squares, octagons, diamonds and rectangles enabling the design and creation of original one-off installations.
These slip resistant tiles are suitable for use in wet areas and have a pendulum rating of 36+. The indoor Kaste01 porcelain tiles are available in a standard 10mm thickness with a heavy-duty indoor version offered in the 60cm x 60cm tile in either 12mm or 14mm thickness, ideal for commercial applications with high footfall.
Outdoor projects can be completed using Kaste01’s lightweight 40mm thick outdoor porcelain slabs, available in two different sizes – 90cm x 90cm and 60cm x 60cm. They are constructed from a 10mm Kaste01 tile combined with 30mm serafoam backing providing a wider opportunity for use whether on terraces, balconies, pathways, patios or swimming pool surrounds.
