Designed with safety in mind, our range of tiles which achieve +36 PTV
A Pendulum Test Value denotes the slip resistance of tiles. Every tile is assessed in wet and dry conditions to produce a PTV rating. Tiles with a PTV rating of 36 or above are considered to have a higher slip resistance and, therefore, have a reduced slip potential. Commercial tiling projects often have specific requirements for the PTV rating. The score requirements will depend on the commercial setting and the risk of slips based on the environmental conditions. Tiles that will be installed in settings where water, moisture or floor spillages are expected will require a higher PTV score.
