Alicante

Alicante is a porcelain tile that recreates the look of traditional Spanish terracotta floors, pairing the warmth of fired clay with the durability and low maintenance of a porcelain body.

The range is built around three terracotta base colours, Palermo, Verona and Ferrara, supplied in a matt finish that achieves a +36 PTV slip resistance rating on both the slider 55 and slider 96 tests, making it suitable for wall and floor applications across interior and exterior spaces.

Alongside the base tiles, a set of glazed gloss shapes and tacos in Blu, Aquamarina, Verde and Bianco introduces accents of colour into the floor.

All pieces are 10mm thick, with formats spanning squares from 150x150mm to 450x450mm, rectangles and strips up to 480x74mm, small 40x40mm tacos and cross, arrow, star and lozenge shapes. This combination allows designers to move from a simple single-colour terracotta floor to intricate, multi-coloured layouts with inset tacos or interlocking star and cross patterns.

Its slip resistance and suitability for external use make Alicante a practical choice for terraces, pool surrounds and outdoor dining areas, while the same tiles can carry the look inside to hotel lobbies, restaurants and bars for a continuous finish between spaces.

An Environmental Product Declaration is also available for project teams working to sustainability targets.
