Calcium

Calcium is a sandstone effect tile that combines the varied grain of natural stone with influences from traditional terrazzo and concrete. The result is a continuous, even background broken up by small stone fragments that vary in size and colour, adding movement and warmth without the strong pattern of a classic terrazzo.

The core range comes in White, Beige, Grey and Brown, giving a choice of light, warm and cool neutrals for both floors and walls. Three decor tiles and three wall-only options extend the collection, allowing feature walls and wet areas to be tiled in a coordinating design.

Floor tiles are produced in 1200x1200x10.5mm, 1200x600x10mm and 750x750x9.7mm formats, with a 900x333mm format for walls. All are finished in matt. The floor tiles are rated 36+ PTV on slider 96, placing them in the low slip potential category for shod pedestrian traffic in wet conditions. They can be used both internally and externally, so the same sandstone look can continue from an indoor floor onto a terrace without a change in colour or texture.

With matching tones across indoor and outdoor floors, Calcium suits office receptions, hotel lobbies, restaurants and retail spaces that open onto terraces or courtyards, as well as washrooms and communal areas in large residential developments. It sits within the wider porcelain tiles range.

For other floors where slip performance is a priority, the slip-resistant tiles collection offers further options. EPDs covering the range are available to download for projects reporting on embodied carbon.
