Marka

Marka is a large format wood effect porcelain tile in a light oak palette, designed for projects where the warmth and character of timber is required, but without the maintenance demands of real wood.

The collection takes its name from the forested hillside areas surrounding Oslo in Norway, a reference that informs its quiet, natural aesthetic.

Produced in a 1200x230mm plank format at 9mm thickness, Marka replicates the grain and tonal variation of light oak and walnut timbers through a high-definition matt surface. 

The elongated plank dimension creates strong directional lines across a floor or wall, making it well suited to open-plan residential spaces, hotel bedrooms, corridor runs and commercial interiors where a natural material feel is required at scale.

The matt finish reduces surface reflectivity and provides a tactile quality that closely resembles the surface of brushed or oiled timber. 

Unlike real wood, the porcelain construction requires no sealing, oiling or specialist cleaning, and is not susceptible to moisture damage, making it appropriate for bathrooms, kitchens and covered exterior areas.

Marka is suitable for both wall and floor applications, interior and exterior. The single Oak colourway keeps specification straightforward in schemes where a consistent, neutral wood tone is the design intent.
