Nandos, Coventry Arena

A range of our tiles have been specified by Harrison, the lead interior design consultancy for Nando’s, for use at the new Coventry Arena restaurant, bringing stylish surfaces that are durable and beautifully simple to care for.

Featuring on walls and floors, the tiles capture Nando’s unique aesthetic. Bespoke sourced rustic terracotta strips feature on the main walls of the dining area with our porcelain PTV 36+ Regal concrete effect tiles used on the main dining floor.

Designed for exceptional performance in commercial environments, Regal is proven in high-traffic environments. In matt finish, the porcelain tile provides Nando’s with a slip-resistant surface that is simple to maintain. Harrison selected two complementary Smoke and Ash grey colours from the collection to create a bold geometric design.

Elsewhere on the restaurant floor, the striking style of Velluccia terrazzo effect tiles has been used to great effect in the deep grey of graphite. Featuring at least 40% recycled content, the porcelain PTV 36+ matt finish delivers a durable and low maintenance finish.

Featuring in an electrifying blue, handmade triangle tiles build on the rustic effects used elsewhere. On the front of the servery, they bring a bold splash of colour that matches the vibrant ethnic artwork and brightly patterned ceiling decoration and lampshades.

Then on the walls of the WCs, Oktra Halves continue the triangular theme in a 43% recycled content ceramic tile. The 15 x 15cm tile can be used in multiple arrangements to create a bespoke feel from an ‘off the shelf’ solution. These are accompanied by a bespoke sourced brushed effect black floor tile for the floors to bring a smart aesthetic.

A total of 350m2 of Parkside tiles were installed throughout the restaurant, with the project beginning in March of 2020 and installed in phases as restrictions allowed. Nando’s Coventry Arena Park is now welcoming diners to enjoy a dining experience that has become the company’s signature.
