Next’s new flagship store at Fosse Park West expands across two floors, bringing us clothing, homewares, Costa Coffee, Waterstones & Virgin Holidays together all under one roof.

We have a long running relationship with Next and have supplied many different tiles including marble, stone, concrete and wood effects, as well as solutions specifically for mezzanine floors and the bespoke Natural Stone Marble Mosaics.

The retailer’s latest concept store, Fosse Park has been in planning since 2014 and opened in April 2021, showcasing an experiential shopping experience that takes customers on a journey through home interiors, fashion and flowers, seamlessly integrating digital markers to guide users around departments.

Our porcelain floor tiles have been used to guide shoppers with brand experience specialist, Dalziel&Pow, designing a floor layout that breaks-up the prime shopping space. Creating zones that help browsers to understand direction and feel comfortable in the space, the specification features three tiles, including designs developed exclusively for Next.

Entic, a wood effect porcelain tile, is joined by Natural Stone Marble Mosaics, a bespoke natural design that’s exclusive to the retailer. As shoppers move from one department to another, the tiles change to create zones that help to mark the transition into a new area of the store.

Interpreting the refined details of wood, Entic is an authentic treatment of the material, delivering a large format rectangular porcelain tile for a plank look. Available in natural and anti-slip finishes, as well as in 20mm thick external use, the tile provides Next Fosse Park with a natural wood effect that’s durable, safe underfoot and simple to maintain.

Natural Stone Marble Mosaics was developed exclusively for Next in 2012 and has been used in more than 50 stores to provide a signature finish. The tile embodies the unique design language of the retailer and in Fosse Park it has been modified into a diamond motif.

Installed in February of this year by Radius Shopfitting, approximately 5,000msq of porcelain tiles with 36+ PTV performance provide Next Fosse Park with a durable and easy to maintain floor finish in key retail areas.
