Visit Parkside Architectural Tiles for Coco Lom x Parkside, a collection of British made terrazzo tiles from the Hackney artist. Coco Lom will be creating in the studio all week and you can grab your limited-edition tote as well as be in with a chance of winning art. Visit our Sekforde Street studio for the launch of Coco Lom x Parkside. This collection of 100% British terrazzo tiles in the Hackney-based artist’s signature abstract patterns will bring a unique look to any commercial interior and is made in Manchester.
Pick up your celebratory Coco Lom x Parkside limited edition tote bag and see Coco Lom create in the studio throughout Clerkenwell Design Week. There will be a chance to win one of Coco Lom’s completed artworks.
Throughout the week, we’ll be holding terrazzo making workshops, so you can join Coco Lom along with Ethical Stone, makers of the Coco Lom x Parkside collection. Come along to get the inside scoop on this exclusive collection and try out its British sourced materials to create a unique coaster for your desk.
The workshop runs for approximately an hour at selected times during the day. Spaces are limited so register early to avoid disappointment.
This year, the studio will also be the first chance to see two newly released sustainable tiling products.
On Tuesday, we’ll be hearing from Alusid’s Dr Alasdair Bremner on how it’s achieved the lowest carbon emissions of any ceramic tile through production techniques, raw material sourcing and a deep dive into its carbon footprint.
Wednesday will see Criaterra explain how the in-situ performance of Criaterra 2.0 has been improved without disrupting its 100% natural and biodegradable composition and a manufacturing process that uses 90% less energy than normal ceramic tiles.
