Inside the restored 20th‑century pavilion in Rovigo, the new Adriatic LNG Work Hub preserves the building’s historical authenticity while updating what was missing in terms of plant engineering and space organisation.
At the centre of the intervention is the Diffuse full‑surface radiant raised floor, a dry system that meets air‑conditioning and energy‑efficiency needs. Its total inspectability and access to the plenum ensure maximum flexibility for future changes, and—because the building is protected—Diffuse was the only reversible solution capable of allowing restoration to the original state without alteration.
The same principle guided the spatial layout, with a mezzanine for meeting rooms and executive offices integrated into the raised floor, while the ground floor hosts workstations and three meeting pods with sound‑absorbing finishes, automated lighting and air exchange.
