One Temple Row, Birmingham

Situated in the heart of Birmingham, One Temple Row is a prime office space that has been refurbished to ‘create the very best experience for the people who walk in every day.’ We worked closely with the team at Eos Interiors to supply a selection of our tiles that brought their design ideas to life. An important element was that we were able to quickly supply the tiles from stock to meet the short turnaround time required for the project timescales.

Peter Leach, Director at Eos Interiors, comments, “The excellent service provided by Parkside was so important to us during this project. The key was their UK stock and availability that enabled us to keep to our deadlines for the project throughout lockdown. They had a wide choice of architectural tiles that worked well in our design.”

As you enter the building, an impressive double height feature reception area makes use of our award-winning Kaste01 tiles in the cement colour option. A seamless design sees the tiles also used on the stairways and corridors. The high slip resistant properties of Kaste01 make it ideal for high traffic areas like these.

Moving on to the showers and locker area, Durali in grey was chosen for the floors. With its subtle terrazzo effect and high slip resistant properties, Durali is a popular choice for floors where a combination of style and technical performance are important. The walls of the shower area come to life thanks to the Regal Cube mosaic in a matt finish. The coordinating Regal trims provide a unified look.

The last tile to mention is arguably the most impactful. Sancy in a combination of blush, white and charcoal creates a striking splashback for the kitchen areas.

Solihull Tiling Specialists were the tiling contractors for the project, and we asked Company Director, Reiss Blakeman, for his thoughts on the project and working with us, “The Temple Row project for us as a business was a breath of fresh air. At a time when the world was filled with so much uncertainty, we knew we had to be on our A game. Part of that involves working alongside likeminded companies who share the same vision and quality as yourself. We had that in abundance with Parkside. Not only their range of tiles that were of a high quality, but their willingness to be a part of the project all the way through to the end. Business is also about building great relationships and thanks to Temple Row and Eos Interiors for putting us together, we now have that great relationship to work together on many more future projects.”
