Although the UK pallet delivery network usually delivers great service, the network is currently operating in exceptional circumstances due to a surge in demand since Easter which has impacted their service levels. We also know that there are some freight delays at ports, a global container shortage and that there is a limited number of drivers able to enter the UK from Europe.

Although there are signs of overall delivery improvement this week, we ask our clients to understand that there are some uncertainties and delivery dates quoted will be estimated dates only for a short period of time. We will, however, ensure you are kept up to date and informed should these dates change or when they can be confirmed. This uncertainty is impacting many UK markets for imported goods and certainly all UK tile suppliers will be experiencing challenges. Due to the significant buying scale and strong supply chain of our Group we are advantaged in these difficult times with many products already stocked in the UK, and freight scale and options that will help us minimise any delays.
