Anti-Bacterial Tiles

Our anti-bacterial tiles are a range of tiles using a new and innovative technology, where a bio-compound is added to the tiles glaze during the single firing stage of manufacturing. This bio-compound gives three key benefits: Anti-bacterial, Anti-viral & Anti-pollution.

This technology uses photocatalytic activity which is the process of using light to speed up or activate the chemical reaction in which the technology contributes to eliminating bacteria organisms or virus material on the surface. This chemical reaction causes the tiles surface to be inhabitable to most bacteria and viruses and so reduces the transmission of these germs, providing a safer environment for health.

With as little as 8 hours exposure to light the tiles surface has shown to reduce bacteria and virus presence by up to 99.9%, and even when in darker conditions for the same length of time, the technology continues to reduce traces of bacteria and virus particles of between 95% and 99%.

Luxury Vinyl Tiles
