We held the second in our Festival of Sustainability event series at Clerkenwell’s Crypt on the Green. The evening welcomed in designers and architects keen to expand their knowledge on sustainability in specification.
The World Land Trust, GreenSpec and Orms Architects presented their perspective on sustainability and how specifications can make a difference to global warming. Dan Bradbury from the World Land Trust explored how our 40 for 40 programme can make a difference to the preservation of natural habitats.
Next Sandy Patience of GreenSpec took to the stage, before Rachel Hoolahan of Orms Architects explained to the audience how reuse is a model that can be successfully used in commercial interiors. Rachel’s work on material reuse has seen her become AJ’s Sustainability Champion 2021.
The evening finished with a panel Q&A session that saw the audience having their sustainability questions answered by our experts. With the fabulous Crypt on the Green venue, delegates from across the industry and some great sustainable minds; the Festival of Sustainability was a great success and we’re already looking forward to the next one.
