For decades, Parkside has been a trusted tile source to the UK commercial project specification market, specifying contemporary porcelain, ceramic and natural stone tiles for every type of project.
From this position of influence, our vision is to lead the environmental agenda for the tile specification market.
We will do this by contributing to the realisation of a vibrant and sustainable society through continuous innovation and ceaseless creativity. This is throughout our supply chain, with a dedicated objective to create a fully net carbon neutral operation by September 2022.
To achieve this, we base our company operations on mutual trust and understanding in the way that we work together, drawing on our accreditation ISO14001 to build continuous improvement plans for the benefit of all who work for and with us, together with our customers.
We have adopted an eco-led services approach to energy sourcing across our company operations, from our company car policy that embraces new electric vehicle technology through transport, supply chain and logistics, waste and recycling.
Furthermore, we are committed to investing in research and building further understanding of solutions to environmental issues such as carbon reduction, climate change and resource depletion, working closely with University of East Anglia in Environmental Science.
As part of Parkside's pledge to you, we offer an expanding range of finishes inspired by the world's naturally beautiful landscapes, technically enhance the potential uses of architectural surfaces and offer unique design opportunities all thanks to the use of state-of-the-art technologies.
We commit to all new ranges having a minimum of 20% recycled content, with our award-winning Sequel range now presenting an impressive 98% recycled content. All of our materials are at the forefront of energy and water efficiency in production, are abrasive, chemical and heat resistant and are crafted to stand the test of time.
We offer a complete sustainable specification service with high recycled content adhesives and grouts to accompany the high recycled content architectural finishes.
We ensure we operate a business that is fully sustainable, inclusive of the majority of our materials, and increasingly source many of our products from suppliers with leading environmentally friendly credentials.
All of our waste and water is being recycled and reused in our production process. We also make sure that we are constantly monitoring and reducing impacts of our dedicated delivery service to clients.
Parkside works with several charities, including the World Land Trust alongside WRAP to support sustainability efforts within the UK and globally, alongside ensuring we offset remaining carbon emissions.
We are also committed to working with aligned Group departments and the dedicated Group Sustainability Council to champion eco-innovations and continuous measurement and improvement.
We believe that together, we can make a difference.
